idea: shadows vs. drama
aBout the concept.
The manipulation of shadows and light enhance the dramatic atmosphere, where shadows create a depth in the visual field, lights create its limits. The idea is to enhance the depth created in the facade by the well distribution of lighting fixtures and the use of perforated aluminum cladding.
فكرة التصميم الاساسية كانت قائمه على التلاعب بالظل والضوء لخلق جو درامي على الواجهة يعمل كعنصر جذب، حيث ان في حين ان الظلال تعمل على زيادة عمق المجال البصري للواجهة، يعمل الضوء على تحديدها
the dramatic contrast between day and night
shadows creates depth in the facade in day time caused by the darkened shadows in the negative space within the logo. this effect occurs due to the contrast in the perforation diameters.
lights creates drama in the facade by lighting up the negative space in the logo at night. this effect is created due to the porforation difference in diameter.
